This project took months of hard work, long nights, and a lot of heart. I’ve poured everything I had into building something beautiful — something that brings life, fear, mystery, and emotion into your Barovian campaigns. Because this adventure once meant a lot to me — and maybe, it does for you too.

This module is completely free — a gift to the D&D and Foundry VTT community. Designed specifically for the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition system, it provides everything you need to run an unforgettable gothic horror campaign.

🔗 Troubleshooting

To help you immerse yourself in working with this Map Pack, here is a guide to its core interactive features.

The First Scene: Main Menu & Workspace

Example | 700

The first thing you'll see is the desktop scene. When activated, a playlist of classical, melancholic music starts playing, and the lighting automatically shifts depending on the day/night cycle.
There are 4 interactive zones on this scene:

Quick Travels

To simplify movement between locations, the map of regions and cities features boxes with location names. Double-click on a name, and the entire party is automatically teleported to the new location.

Crucial Step for Quick Travel

In order for players to move safely and see their surroundings, you must add player tokens to each location! Otherwise, they will not have vision, and the new scene will appear completely dark to them.

Event Activation & Macros

On many maps, you will find hidden activation buttons for specific events (usually located on the left side of the map). I created these so you can trigger cinematic moments exactly when you need them.

~~#### Loot & Interactive Chests
The maps are littered with uniquely designed chests containing pre-arranged loot and coins. We use the Item Piles module for this mechanic.
~1. Players must move their token in close proximity to the chest.
~1. Double-click the chest to open the UI.
~1. Drag items directly into the inventory and collect the coins.

Why do some maps look weird to the GM?

When you first open a map, some locations might look overlapping or strange. This is because we use the Levels module to create multi-floor scenes.
Do not worry the map displays correctly for your players. To view a specific floor correctly yourself, click on the Layers (Slices) icon in your left-hand toolbar to isolate the floor you want to see.

🏰 Premium Expansions

If you enjoyed this module and want to expand your adventures even further, I’ve created several premium expansions. Crafted with the same level of care, these are available exclusively to my Patreon supporters:
