Ravenloft should never feel silent or safe. My goal was simple: remove friction, keep fear. I wanted the castle to work with the DM, not against them.

This is not just an update; it is a complete rebuild of the legendary Castle Ravenloft, created from the perspective of a Dungeon Master who has run this campaign countless times.
The castle is infamous for its exhausting vertical chaos, endless secret doors, and constant perception checks. This module solves that. Built at a massive 1.6 GB scale (divided into two scenes: the Upper Castle and the Dungeon to handle the immense detail), this version offers an unparalleled, fully automated, and atmospheric descent into Strahd's domain.
πΊοΈ Key Features
- Scale: 11 full floors, split into two scenes (Upper Castle & Dungeon).
- Vertical Movement: Fully integrated with the Levels module. Elevators and vertical passages move characters naturally via interactive menus, without manual token dragging. Visual hints are included to guide players who get lost.
- Smart Automation: Traps and secret doors are fully automated. Characters with 15+ Passive Perception will automatically reveal written visual cues and audio sound effects. Disarming is handled through direct interaction and Dexterity checks.
- Horror Systems: Hidden trigger zones activate random, unpredictable scary sound effects to build slow tension rather than cheap jumpscares. These are entirely optional and can be toggled by the GM.
- DM Control Menu: A top-right interface allows the GM to instantly reset traps, disable systems, control audio scripts, and manage castle-wide behavior.
